NL # 40 – Adversity. Safety and Security. Small Beginnings.

Thought #1 – Adversity.

Adversity is the mirror that reflects who you really are.

Believe what you see.

Thought #2 – Safety and Security.

There is no safety in your comfort zone. You may feel safe, but it’s just an illusion. Doing things the same way you’ve always done them, or going to the same places year in and year out, gives a false sense of security. What happens when life throws you a curve ball? And you know it will. What do you do then?

The only guarantee for security is growth, and growing only occurs when you leave your comfort zone.

Thought #3 – Small Beginnings.

Have you ever been in a situation where you thought you conquered your fear?

Or have you ever thought that you finally had your anger under control, only to have it show up at the most inopportune time?

We have all been there.

So don’t lose hope, you will overcome if you keep making small changes, and just at the right time, without you even realizing it, your fear and anger will be gone.

Don’t underestimate the power of small beginnings.

Quote for the Week

And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure if the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When the storm is over, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.
